Welcome to The Callis Educational Fund website. The purpose of The Callis Educational Fund is to provide scholarships for Callis descendants with outstanding scholastic records and to promote genealogical research. Callis descendants are those individuals who are descendants of Captain Robert Callis, 1615 – 1680, of St. Peter, Hertsford, England, Barbados, and Petsworth Parish, Gloucester County, Virginia, by birth or adoption, and their spouses. These individuals will be eligible to apply for a scholarship for The Callis Educational Fund.

For purposes of identifying Callis descendants and spouses referred to above, The Callis Educational Fund is relying on a large volume of genealogical information researched and published most recently in The Callis Family in England and the USA 1086-1998 by Helena Callis McGinnis, 1912 – 2001, and printed and bound by McNaughton and Gunn, Saline, MI.
